Hunter Biden is now facing criminal charges.

Special counsel David Weiss indicted Hunter Biden on three gun charges including making false statements on a federal background check form and owning a gun as a drug user.
The charges stemmed from Hunter Biden purchasing a firearm in 2018 and checking a box to indicate he was not addicted to drugs or alcohol at the time when in reality Biden wrote in his memoir that he was addicted to smoking crack.
A federal judge forced Weiss’s hand after she blew up the sweetheart plea agreement Weiss crafted for Biden.
In exchange for pleading guilty to two misdemeanor tax fraud charges, Hunter Biden would enter a pretrial diversionary program and serve no jail time and Hunter Biden would receive lifetime immunity from prosecution in any other ongoing investigation meaning the Biden Justice Department effectively closed off any avenue to a criminal investigation into Joe Biden’s involvement in the Biden family’s alleged foreign influence peddling scheme.
Whistleblowers Gary Shapley Jr. and Joseph Ziegler soon stepped forward and detailed how the Biden Justice Department meddled in the probe to prevent Weiss from filing more serious charges and to keep IRS investigators from asking questions that might lead to Joe Biden.
After the judge called out Weiss in court and blew up the plea deal Weiss had no choice but to move forward with the indictment.
Hunter Biden’s lawyer falsely claimed MAGA Republicans were behind this indictment.
“As expected, prosecutors filed charges today that they deemed were not warranted just six weeks ago following a five-year investigation into this case,” Lowell ranted. “The evidence in this matter has not changed in the last six weeks, but the law has and so has MAGA Republicans’ improper and partisan interference in this process. Hunter Biden possessing an unloaded gun for 11 days was not a threat to public safety, but a prosecutor, with all the power imaginable, bending to political pressure presents a grave threat to our system of justice. We believe these charges are barred by the agreement the prosecutors made with Mr. Biden, the recent rulings by several federal courts that this statute is unconstitutional, and the facts that he did not violate that law, and we plan to demonstrate all of that in court.”
In reality, Hunter Biden benefited from a two-tiered system of justice.
