Donald Trump Considering Tulsi Gabbard for Vice President

Donald Trump is narrowing down the shortlist to be his running mate.

The final choice may shock everyone.

And Donald Trump has this surprise VP pick up his sleeve.

As Great American Daily reports:

During a recent South Carolina town hall, Laura Ingraham included former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard on a list of prospective running mates in question to Trump.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and Florida Congressman Byron Donalds rounded out the list.

Trump sounded open to them all, but noticeably the crowd applauded at the mention of Gabbard’s name.

“Honestly all of those people are good,” Trump responded. “They’re all good, they’re all solid.”

Gabbard left the Democrat Party in 2022 blasting the party as a cabal of warmongers and anti-white racists.

She then endorsed conservative candidates like Kari Lake and J.D. Vance in the 2022 elections.

Gabbard also guest-hosted Tucker Carlson’s program where she showed she is closely aligned with Trump on foreign policy and ending the war in Ukraine to focus on securing America’s southern border.

Jesse Watters recently interviewed Gabbard and asked her point-blank about the VP speculation.

“You’re being considered for a VP slot, is that something you are open to?” Watters wondered.

Gabbard – who served honorably in the Iraq War – responded that she is always willing to do what is in the best interests of the country.

“I would be open to that,” Gabbard answered. “My mission is to serve our country. I want to be in a position to solve problems.”

Adding fuel to “Gabbard for VP” speculation is the fact that Trump recently met in private with Gabbard at Mar-a-Lago where the two discussed how to put conservatives loyal to Trump’s America First agenda in key positions in the Pentagon and remove deep-state saboteurs.

“Trump met with Gabbard at least once in person last year. She has often shared Trump’s approach toward the world in his post-presidency, according to advisers who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose private details. Gabbard and Trump and his team have discussed military entanglements overseas and Trump’s frustrations with Republicans on foreign policy. Trump advisers also hope Gabbard — who serves in the Army Reserve — could appeal to independent voters in a general election, one person familiar with the strategy said, and advocate his military policies,” the Washington Post reported.

Trump and Gabbard also have one other thing in common.

Hillary Clinton smeared them both as Russian agents.

Gabbard refused to back Clinton in 2016 because Gabbard opposed Clinton’s foreign policy.

Both Gabbard and Trump ripped Clinton as a warmonger over her plan to start World War 3 with Russia over Syria.

Clinton’s campaign seized on that to fan the false accusations that Trump colluded with Russia that arose out of the hoax Christopher Steele dossier.

In 2019, Clinton went on a podcast and hinted that the Russians were “grooming” Gabbard for a third-party run to swing the election to Trump.

“I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton claimed. “She’s the favorite of the Russians.”

Donald Trump is not likely to make his VP pick until before the Republican convention this summer.

But it’s clear that Tulsi Gabbard is high up on the shortlist.
