Megyn Kelly Exposes Media Double Standard Toward Melania Trump

Megyn Kelly made major news with her first interview with Donald Trump in seven years.

And Megyn Kelly revealed a stunning truth about Melania Trump that will stop you in your tracks.

Melania Trump was a very private first lady.

Unlike Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton, Melania never sought the spotlight and really just wanted to carry out her duties as a mother in raising her son Barron.

Trump didn’t make many public appearances and the press tried to make an issue of it claiming Melania didn’t support her husband politically.

At one point in Trump’s first year in office Melania withdrew from the spotlight for a couple of weeks leading to CNN conspiracy theorist host Brian Stelter running segments asking where she was.

Others in the media spread lies about how Melania Trump was in hiding because Trump gave her a black eye.

The truth was Melania was recovering from surgery.

With Trump running for re-election, Melania is once again keeping a low profile in the 2024 campaign.

Kelly asked Trump about Melania and where she was.

“Let’s talk personal for a minute, if you don’t mind. Haven’t seen a lot of Melania lately. How’s she doing and how’s Barron doing? Because I know he’s a senior in high school now,” Kelly stated.

Trump responded that Melania is doing fine and focusing on raising Barron.

Then Kelly responded that what drove her furious about the coverage of Melania Trump was how Vogue never put her on the cover despite the fact that Melania Trump is an accomplished fashion model who rose to the top of her industry.

Other outlets never highlighted the fact that the United States had an actual fashion icon in the White House after spending eight years pretending that Michelle Obama was some kind of trendsetter.

“Do you believe they never put her on Vogue, on the cover of Vogue? And they just they just let Karine Jean-Pierre in there?” Kelly said to Trump.

Trump shared the fact that as soon as Trump won the 2016 election the fashion press blacklisted Melania.

“Now, can you believe it? Can you believe it? She was on the cover of Vogue before she met me? Yeah, and during. But once I said I’m running for president, that was, that was the end of the cover,” Trump added.

In an interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker, Trump addressed Melania Trump’s campaign status and said she would join him on the trail when it is appropriate.

“When it’s appropriate, but pretty soon,” Trump told Welker.

“She’s a private person, a great person, very confident person and she loves our country very much. She’ll be at the appropriate time she’ll be out there. Honestly, I like to keep her away from it — it’s so nasty and so mean,” Trump concluded.
