Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Accused of Supporting a Bailout That Could Benefit Her

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is hiding something.

It’s a terrible secret.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a skeleton in her closet that could wreck her career.

As Great American Daily reports:

There was no louder voice in Congress pushing Joe Biden to illegally bail out student loan debt than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

“Now would be a great time to cancel student loan debt, take significant climate action, and pass voting rights,” Ocasio-Cortez posted on X, the app formerly known as Twitter back in May of 2022.

Several months later Joe Biden announced a scheme to loot the Treasury via executive order to transfer up to $20,000 in student loan debt from married couples making up to $250,000 per year to the taxpayers.

This scheme cost the American people over $400 billion.

But the bailout potentially benefited Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

That’s because her most recent financial disclosure form listed between $15,000 and $50,000 in student loan debt while she makes $174,000 per year as a member of Congress.

Biden timed the announcement for the fall to spur Democrat turnout among young voters and those with college degrees, two Democrat-leaning voting cohorts.

But no matter the dubious legality or morality of transferring student loan debt from borrowers to taxpayers, Ocasio-Cortez cheered the move.

“It was YOUR pushing, YOUR pressure, YOUR organizing that got them to this point,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Instagram. “It is up to us, and to you, to decide if we are going to stop here, or if we are going to keep pushing.”

But Ocasio-Cortez pushed for more saying Biden needed to bail out the entire $1.7 trillion in student loan debt held by all borrowers.

“I am very grateful for this watershed moment of a first step – it is so encouraging, thrilling, and has already changed SO many people’s lives,” Ocasio-Cortez added. “But I am also thinking about how this still leaves a question mark for those in the highest amounts of debt, who need the most amount of help. So let’s celebrate and keep going.”

The Supreme Court swiftly struck down Biden’s patently illegal student loan bailout scheme on the grounds that Biden usurped Congress’s authority to make law.

But that did not stop Ocasio-Cortez from going on CNN and advocating that Biden should find ways to end-run both the courts and Congress to bail out student loan debt.

“I would like to see interest payments suspended during this time, especially during that 12-month ramp-up period,” Ocasio-Cortez declared. “There are millions of people in this country that have student loan debt under… $10,000 or $20,000, as outlined in the plan.”

“People should not be incurring interest during this 12-month on-ramp period,” Ocasio-Cortez concluded. “So, I highly urge the administration to consider suspending those interest payments. Of course, we still believe in pursuing student loan cancellation and acting faster than that 12-month period wherever possible.”
