CNN Host Jake Tapper Admits Republicans Are Right About the Hunter Biden Investigation

Joe Biden has big trouble on his hands.

Biden’s normal supporters are turning on him.

And a critical ally turned on Joe Biden and you won’t believe why.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that he named U.S. Attorney David Weiss as the special counsel in the Hunter Biden probe.

Even RINOs who so far oppose impeaching Joe Biden over the mounting evidence uncovered by the House Oversight Committee that Joe Biden played a starring role in Hunter Biden’s alleged foreign influence peddling scheme slammed the appointment.

That’s because Weiss is the Biden-friendly prosecutor who tried to cut a sweetheart plea deal with Hunter Biden that granted Hunter Biden immunity from any future prosecution on all crimes if he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and served no jail time.

Weiss also ran an investigation that IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler said was hopelessly compromised by politics and that the Biden Justice Department interfered in at every turn.

Nebraska RINO Congressman Don Bacon outlined the growing charges of pay-for-play access-peddling by the Biden family.

“I hope Special Counsel David Weiss informs Americans just how many millions of dollars Hunter Biden made on what his ex-partner called an ‘illusion’ of access, and if the President financially benefited,” Bacon stated. “How many LLCs were actually formed to mask where the money was sent? The President denied any involvement, but now we know he was on approximately 20 phone calls. I hope the Special Counsel gets to the truth.”

But even Bacon expressed doubt that Weiss is the right man for the job.

“At the same time, I’m concerned that Special Counsel Weiss previously recommended a sweetheart deal for Hunter that was rightfully rejected by the judge,” Bacon continued.

New York Congressman Nick Langworthy accused Garland of setting up another sham by appointing a Biden stooge to the position of special counsel which will allow the Biden family to obstruct congressional investigations into Joe Biden’s corruption.

“Attorney General Garland’s decision is a clear attempt to cover up mounting evidence from the House Oversight Committee, exposing President Biden’s involvement in his family’s pay-for-play schemes with foreign nationals. The Department’s misconduct already allowed the clock to run out on serious crimes committed by Hunter Biden, while officials ignored incriminating leads and negotiated a lenient plea deal. This move underscores the Biden Justice Department’s bid to obstruct congressional oversight of the President’s corruption and compromised leadership,” Langworthy declared.

But in an even more damaging turn of events, Biden lost the support of the media as a key ally, as former Democrat campaign operative and CNN host Jake Tapper admitted that appointing Weiss as special counsel meant Republicans were right the whole time in attacking the political favoritism that the Biden Justice Department showed Hunter Biden.

“This move makes it seem as though, well, maybe the whistleblowers were right. Maybe what they were alleging is true, and he couldn’t charge whatever he wanted to charge, and now he does. So I do have a lot of questions about that, and I do think some of the political questions being raised by Republicans have merit,” Tapper stated.
