Karine Jean-Pierre is widely regarded as one of the worst White House press secretaries ever.
Jean-Pierre is unable to answer questions unless she can find a pre-written response stuffed in the gigantic binder she lugs with her to the podium for each briefing.
But now questions are swirling around Jean-Pierre and the press over a massive conflict of interest that exposes the worst examples of liberal media bias.
It turns out the Biden administration was literally in bed with the press.
Jean-Pierre serves as Joe Biden’s chef propagandist and unbeknownst to everyone else got into bed every night with Suzanne Malveaux who worked as a CNN anchor until January 2023.
This relationship became public knowledge when Jean-Pierre and Malveaux announced they were splitting up in an interview with Vogue Magazine.
Jean-Pierre and Malveaux adopted a child in 2014 and Jean-Pierre now claims her daughter is her number-one priority.
“I’m a single mom who is co-parenting this amazing kid,” Jean-Pierre said in the interview. “Our number-one priority is her privacy and to make sure we create an environment that’s nurturing.”
“We talk about her feelings all the time,” Jean-Pierre continued. “I ask her all the time, ‘Are you happy? How’s it going?’ and she’ll tell me. That’s the nice part—being the parent that you wish you had,” she says. “My parents were amazing, but they were trying to survive.”
The circumstances under which Jean-Pierre and Malveaux met are even more damning for Jean-Pierre and CNN’s ethics.
Jean-Pierre wrote in her 2019 memoir “Moving Forward” that the two met at the 2012 Democratic National Convention when Jean-Pierre was working for the Obama re-election campaign and Malveaux covered the race as a correspondent for CNN.
“We met at a donor party being held in a nightclub,” Jean-Pierre wrote. “I know it’s a cliché, but the truth is, I spotted her across a crowded dance floor.”
No actual news organization would allow a reporter to date an operative from a campaign they were ostensibly covering as a neutral and impartial journalist.
But Jean-Pierre and Malveaux dating just made it official that CNN was in love with the Obama campaign.
During the Trump years many anchors and commentators on CNN repeatedly smeared Fox News as “state TV.”
But a top CNN anchor went home to bed every night with Joe Biden’s number-one spinmeister.
The least surprising thing about this relationship was that it existed in the first place.
There has long been a revolving door between the Democrat Party and the upper ranks of the media.
