Conservatives dislike the establishment for a reason.
Elected Republicans won’t get the message.
And now Megyn Kelly called out a RINO traitor for this betrayal.

Ohio’s RINO Governor Mike DeWine caved to the woke mob and vetoed HB 68 which would have banned transgender surgeries for minor children as well as biological males from competing in girls’ sports.
DeWine falsely claimed allowing doctors to mutilate children with risky, life-altering surgeries was protecting the rights of parents.
But DeWine’s comments led critics to conclude that hospitals that treat these barbaric surgeries as cash cows induced DeWine to put kids at risk by vetoing this bill.
“This bill would impact a very small number of Ohio’s children. But for those children who face gender dysphoria, the consequences of this bill could not be more profound. Ultimately I believe this is about protecting human life,” DeWine declared. “Many parents have told me that their child would not have survived, would be dead today, if they had not received the treatment they received from one of Ohio’s children’s hospitals.”
Megyn Kelly and other conservative women pledged that DeWine’s double-cross would not be the final word as they pledged the Ohio legislature would override DeWine’s veto.
“Shame on you @MikeDeWine for allowing the genital mutilation/sterilization of MINOR CHILDREN & for placing the rights of boys declaring themselves ‘female’ over those of girls who just want to play sports fairly/safely. Thank God you can & will be overridden by Ohio legislators,” Kelly posted on social media.
Minor children can’t enter strip clubs, drink alcohol, buy cigarettes, join the military, purchase a firearm or get a tattoo until they are 18 because society recognizes kids’ brains aren’t fully developed and they can’t properly process making these decisions.
DeWine received adulation from the left such as former Obama chief strategist and CNN commentator David Axelrod.
DeWine’s treachery wasn’t surprising in many respects.
That’s because DeWine is the type of establishment Republican who always folds in the culture war once the left exerts even the slightest bit of pressure.
During COVID, DeWine empowered his public health director to impose tyrannical lockdowns and mask mandates while soaking in the adulation from CNN and other liberal media outlets.
But protecting children from surgeries that carry potentially deadly consequences should be an easy call for any Republican.
Republican elites can’t understand why GOP voters refuse to abandon Donald Trump but it’s because the base knows the establishment will sell them out in a heartbeat to try and worm their way into the good graces of the left.
