California Governor Gavin Newsom Hints at Challenge to Kamala Harris

The sharks are circling in the Democrat Party.

Kamala Harris has a new worry.

And Kamala Harris is going to hate what this Democrat is planning to do to her.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is playing the part of a loyal Joe Biden supporter.

Newsom told “Meet the Press” that Joe Biden is going to be the nominee and if Biden isn’t then he won’t challenge Kamala Harris for the nomination.

That made Newsom the most high-profile Democrat to throw his support behind Harris remaining on the ticket.

Newsom also traveled to the second GOP presidential debate to serve as a surrogate for Joe Biden.

But Newsom is no different from any other politician in that you can’t judge their intentions by what they say.

Instead, their actions speak louder than words.

And Gavin Newsom’s actions have the volume turned up to 11.

In recent weeks Gavin Newsom vetoed a bill that would have allowed the government to snatch kids away from their parents if the mom and dad opposed their child transitioning into transgenderism.

Newsom also asked a court to strike down a law that prevented government officials from clearing out homeless encampments that plague downtown areas in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The California governor also agreed to debate Ron DeSantis in Georgia on November 30 in a made-for-TV Fox News special moderated by Sean Hannity.

Finally, when Newsom showed up in the spin room at the second GOP debate, he took on the issue of Joe Biden’s open borders.

Newsom attempted to thread a needle with his comments where he offered support for amnesty to appease the woke left who think any immigration enforcement is white supremacy while also trying to signal to swing voters that he understands there is a crisis at the southern border.

Neither Kamala Harris nor Joe Biden will use the word “crisis” to describe the southern border.

And Kamala Harris is the face of failure as a record number of illegal aliens storm into the country due to her position as the administration’s border czar.

Newsom’s pointed comments about the border position him to take on Harris in either 2024 or 2028 depending on Joe Biden’s status.

The California governor may claim he is all-in behind Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, but the reality is with polls showing Donald Trump beating both Biden and Harris, Newsom wants Democrats to know that in the case of emergency he is ready to step in to be the nominee in 2024.
