Adam Schiff Ends Up With Egg on His Face After Latest Attack on Trump

Adam Schiff enjoys the spotlight a little too much.

Schiff committed a gaffe that immediately backfired.

And Democrats wished Adam Schiff kept his mouth shut after this devastating confession.

As Great American Daily reports:

Adam Schiff proved once again that Democrats are really the ones guilty of all the offenses they accuse Donald Trump and his supporters of committing.

In an interview on MSNBC, Schiff launched into another tired tirade about how Donald Trump was an existential threat to democracy and that Trump only threatened the fabric of the nation because supposedly the cowardly Republican Party wouldn’t join with Democrats in banishing Donald Trump from public life.

“Donald Trump could not have done any of the damage that he inflicted, the tearing down of our institutions, the causing Americans to distrust our election process, weakening the foundation of our system, and that is voting, but for the willing enablement of so many of her colleagues in Congress,” Schiff began.

Schiff then lamented that – even though establishment Republicans vote with Democrats on gun control, raising the debt ceiling and supporting abortion on demand – more won’t take that final step and be more like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.

“One of the terrible realizations of these years is how many enablers there were and how few people of courage and conviction there were also. And it gets to a fundamental truth that the historian Robert Carroll once described in an interview, when he said that power doesn’t corrupt as much as it reveals. It doesn’t always reveal the best, but it says a lot about who we are. It revealed Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger to be people of great power and conviction, but there were also literally a hundred Kevin McCarthys and Elise Stefaniks that have put our democracy in peril,” Schiff added.

“I remember speaking to Adam Kinzinger and he was saying that people keep saying Liz and I are so courageous. It’s not that we’re so courageous, but we’re surrounded by cowards. I think what we’ve come to learn is we knew inherently that courage can be contagious, but we also found during these years is so can cowardice. No one would speak out,” Schiff concluded.

If anyone waged a full-frontal assault on American democracy it was Adam Schiff.

Schiff led the Russia collusion hoax lying on a near-daily basis about having evidence Trump conspired with the Russians.

The Russia hoax – which was paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and adopted by the FBI and special counsel Robert Mueller – was a coup to drive President Trump out of power.

When that witch hunt ended after producing no evidence of Russia collusion, Schiff immediately moved on to the Ukraine scam.

Schiff led the push to impeach Trump over a fake, media-invented scandal after a couple of deep state bureaucrats on the National Security Council decided that they – and not the commander-in-chief – should run American foreign policy.

Every Democrat in Congress not only countenanced Schiff’s attacks on democracy, but openly cheered him on and willingly participated.
