Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Offends Christians With Crazy Claim About Jesus

Democrats are a party increasingly hostile to Americans of faith.

It’s getting the party into trouble.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez insulted Jesus in this unspeakable way.

As Great American Daily reports:

The Democrat Party base is increasingly vocal in their support for the Palestinians.

On college campuses and on the streets of major cities left-wing mobs form anti-Semitic attacks on Jewish students and businesses in the wake of the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack.

A poll from Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research found nearly 75 percent of Palestinians in Gaza think the Hamas attack – where terrorists cooked babies to death in ovens, burned entire families alive as they embraced for their final moments, and carved out the organs of the Israeli women they raped – was correct.

Despite these facts, large swaths of the Democrat base marshaled around the idea that the Palestinians are the victims, and the Israelis are the colonial oppressors.

Democrats know they need to harness that energy in 2024 as polls show Joe Biden’s support cratering to 16 percent among Muslim Americans.

And that’s led to Democrats and their allies in the press trying to gaslight Americans with the lie that Jesus was really Palestinian.

New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was at the front of the parade in amplifying this falsehood in a Christmas Eve post on Instagram.

“Christ was born in modern-day Palestine,” Ocasio-Cortez began, adding that Jesus was “part of a targeted population indiscriminately killed to protect an unjust leader’s power.”

And just to drive the point home, Ocasio-Cortez compared the plight of Jesus, Mary and Joseph under the Romans to Israel attempting to destroy a terrorist group that slaughtered 1,200 innocent civilians in barbaric fashion.

“Thousands of years later, right-wing forces are violently occupying Bethlehem as similar stories unfold for today’s Palestinians,” Ocasio-Cortez added.

Jesus was also born in Bethlehem, which is located in the West Bank and not Gaza.

Palestine didn’t exist at the time of the Roman Empire and has never been a recognized country.

It’s historically and scripturally illiterate to claim Jesus was a Palestinian Jew.

But Ocasio-Cortez wasn’t the only one pushing this falsehood.

On CNN, Father Edward Beck tried to claim Jesus was Palestinian.

“I think the message of Christmas is that God enters into it with us and we’re not alone in it,” Beck stated. “What I’m so struck by is that the story of Christmas is about a Palestinian Jew- how often do you find those words put together? A Palestinian Jew born into a time when his country was occupied, right? They can’t find a place for her to even give birth, his mother. They’re homeless. They eventually have to flee as refugees into Egypt, no less. I mean, you can’t make up the parallels to our current world situation right now.”

Since the left-wing base latched the party to an unpopular pro-Palestinian stance, Democrat elites need to find a way to make lemonade out of these lemons.

That’s where the false talking point Jesus was Palestinian came from.

Democrats and the media want the American people to buy into this hooey because it won’t make the left’s support for the Palestinians look so outrageous.
