Michelle Obama Won’t Run for President

Democrats are still holding out hope that Michelle Obama could save them from defeat in November.

The former first lady gave her final answer.

And Michelle Obama made one big decision about running for president.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Former First Lady Michelle Obama put out a statement announcing in no uncertain terms she won’t run for president in 2024 and threw her support behind Joe Biden.

“As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president,” a statement to NBC News from Obama’s director of communications, Crystal Carson, read. “Mrs. Obama supports President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ re-election campaign.”

The Biden campaign welcomed the endorsement and said it couldn’t wait to work with Michelle Obama in the fall campaign.

“President and Michelle Obama were enormously helpful in the fight to beat Donald Trump and elect President Biden and Vice President Harris the first time and we are grateful to have their voice and their support in the fight for the fate of our democracy this November,” Biden campaign spokesperson Kevin Munoz declared.

With polls showing Trump winning upwards of 20 percent of the black vote and losing young voters the Biden campaign will deploy Michelle Obama in targeted areas to appeal to those normally loyal Democrat Party voting blocs.

“The expectation of many close to Biden is that, given the former first lady’s star power, the Biden campaign will seek to maximize her limited role later in the campaign, when more swing voters will be paying attention to the race. A senior Biden adviser said there have been early conversations with Obama’s team about campaign engagements and noted that an obvious area of ‘alignment’ with her is her nonpartisan voter registration group, When We All Vote, which aims to promote turnout and close the registration gap among young voters and people of color,” NBC News exclusively reported.

Obama’s statement came on the heels of polling from The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Fox News and CBS all showing Trump holding a lead over Joe Biden.

Leading liberals like New York Times columnist Ezra Klein declared Biden should drop out of the race since he can’t win and allow the party to pick a new nominee at the convention this summer.

The avalanche of polls showing Biden losing only increased the anxiety on the left and Michelle Obama sought to nip any speculation in the bud that she would ride in at the last minute like a white knight to save the day.

Michelle Obama never disguised how much she dislikes politics.

In a recent Netflix special with Oprah, the former first lady stated that she just isn’t made for the world of professional politics.

“Politics is hard,” Obama explained. “And the people who get into it … you’ve got to want it. It’s got to be in your soul, because it is so important. It is not in my soul.”

Democrats now are beginning to realize they are stuck with Joe Biden as the nominee this fall.

And the political picture continues to grow grimmer for Democrats.
