Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one of the leaders of the Democrat Party.

But now Ocasio-Cortez has some egg on her face.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a damaging admission that no one saw coming.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tries hard to be taken seriously as a political leader.

Despite her lack of experience and knowledge, she sees herself as America’s top social justice warrior who will bring about the age of socialism and destroy capitalism.

The reality is she has no special expertise or experience that gives her any insight into how to run the country.

And yet her supporters and sycophants constantly talk about her running for President, as if she is somehow qualified to hold that high position.

Unfortunately for Ocasio-Cortez, one recent interview with MSNBC has damaged her reputation.

MSNBC gave her a softball interview, as they typically do with left-wing politicians, but her answer to one question backfired and made her look worse than ever.

According to Fox News, “MSNBC’s interview with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was labeled a ‘softball’ by critics after she was asked what people get wrong about her.”

“Host and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki asked the progressive ‘Squad’ member what people get wrong about her or what they don’t know about her.”

Here’s how Ocasio-Cortez responded: “When I meet with colleagues or individuals that I had not met with before, they are surprised that I do my homework a lot.”

This set off alarm bells for many people who were watching. The best thing Ocasio-Cortez can say about herself is that she does the bare minimum required of her as a member of Congress?

Dr. Nicole Saphier of Fox News thought her answer was ridiculous.

“That answer, when she was asked walking along the river, you know what is something… powerful that people just don’t know about you and the only thing that she could come up with is that ‘I do my homework.’ That says ‘I am mediocre at best and I will do the minimum possible.’ I’m going to show up for congressional hearings, and I’ll have read the pamphlet that someone put together for me.’ That’s what that says.”

Charlie Hurt, another co-host on the Fox News show said: “I’ve never seen a politician come to Congress who is more deeply beloved with zero record whatsoever than AOC, and she milks it brilliantly.”

It’s clear that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a long way to go before she is truly taken seriously.

And when she admits on national TV that the best thing she can say about herself is she does the bare minimum, she only digs herself even deeper.
