These allegations dogged Donald Trump for years.

Trump finally got his vindication.

And Donald Trump was just proven innocent in this scandal.

As Great American Daily reports:

Investigative journalists Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi and Alex Gutentag published one blockbuster scoop about how the CIA used the Five Eyes – the intelligence services of the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States – to begin spying on 26 Trump associates in March 2016.

Now these three are back with a new bombshell about how Barack Obama’s CIA – allegedly under the direction of former director John Brennan – “embellished” evidence to manufacture the controversial January 6, 2017, intelligence community assessment which claimed Russian President Vladimir Putin meddled in the 2016 election because he preferred Trump to Hillary Clinton.

“They cooked the intelligence,” a source connected to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence told the three journalists. “They made it look like Putin supported Trump,” the source said, adding that “The evidence points the other way,” meaning the Russians actually hoped Hillary Clinton would emerge the victor in the 2016 election.

Shellenberger, Gutentag, and Taibbi also reported Brennan and other intelligence committee officials boosted unreliable sources of intelligence by upgrading their rating to arrive at the conclusion that Putin desired a Trump victory.

“Former CIA Director John Brennan and the ICA authors ‘embellished’ the assessment by giving credibility to unreliable sources. ‘They upgraded in the writing of their report to let those sources have more credibility and a higher rating. We caught them on 3-4 items where those people didn’t have a credible historic reporting line and changed the source rating for that Brennan report.’”

The source told the three journalists that the intelligence community possessed reports where the Russians described Trump in unflattering terms calling him “mercurial,” “unreliable,” and “not steady.”

Russia, however, viewed the prospect of a Clinton presidency more favorable saying Hillary was “manageable and reflecting continuity. It was a relationship they were comfortable with.”

Donald Trump proved to be much tougher on Russia than any president in recent memory.

Trump boosted America’s energy production which hurt Russia right in the wallet as energy exports are Russia’s number-one industry.

Donald Trump also became the first president of the 21st century on whose watch Vladimir Putin didn’t launch a war of territorial expansion.

Trump’s presidency showed that Putin benefited when a Democrat was in office.

And the Russia collusion story was a scam from soup to nuts.
