The contours of the next presidential election are taking shape.

And Donald Trump never loses his capacity to surprise.

Now Donald Trump hit his supporters with a surprising curveball about the 2024 election.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

In an interview with Fox News Channel host Maria Bartiromo, Trump did something no one had ever seen before.

“President Trump reacting to this week’s Judiciary Committee hearing with FBI Director Christopher Wray. I spoke with the 45th President…we started our conversation with a look at the upcoming debate and whether he will participate, and I got his reaction to the FBI Director defending [against] the charges of weaponization and [politicization] at the FBI,” Bartiromo began.

“Was it a mistake to put Christopher Wray there? I mean, obviously, the FBI is not following any of the things that you’re talking about,” Bartiromo asked.

Trump’s always said he is willing to admit errors when called for and this time Trump did not hesitate to say selecting Wray was a mistake.

“Yeah, sadly, it probably was. You know, he was recommended very strongly by Chris Christie, who’s a sad case. I mean, I watch him. He’s a sad case.”

Trump admitted picking Christopher Wray as his choice for FBI director was “probably a mistake” in light of the growing evidence leading conservatives to believe that Wray’s FBI now serves as the political police force for the Democrat Party.

Donald Trump fired disgraced FBI Director James Comey as part of his promise to drain the swamp.

Comey ran the Russia collusion hoax witch hunt from the FBI.

Even though the FBI knew the Clinton campaign dreamed up the fake scandal about Trump colluding with the Russians, Comey approved the investigation.

On Comey’s watch the FBI also used the hoax Steele dossier as the basis for a FISA warrant to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

Firing Comey was a necessary step in reining in the Deep State.

But Trump’s pick to replace Comey – Christopher Wray – proved to be an even greater partisan ally in the Democrats’ scheme to weaponize the justice system against Trump and his supporters.

Wray falsely claimed Antifa was just an idea and not a real group.

On Wray’s watch the FBI ran the largest manhunt in history to arrest every Trump supporter who breathed air around the Capitol on January 6 while running no such nationwide dragnet for Black Lives Matter rioters who terrorized the country, burned down cities, looted businesses and killed dozens of their fellow Americans.

During the 2020 election the FBI also invented a kidnapping plot to entrap Trump supporters which Democrats seized on as evidence Trump inspired a movement of domestic terrorists.

In the 2022 election Wray’s FBI deployed a SWAT team to barge into the home of pro-life activist Mark Houck and arrest him on fake charges at gunpoint in front of his children.

Finally, the FBI colluded with Big Tech to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story during the 2020 election and spent three years covering up the Joe Biden bribery allegation.

Should Donald Trump – or any other Republican – win the presidency in 2024 it is likely the first order of business will be firing Christopher Wray.
