John Fetterman continues to generate friction in the Democrat Party.
Fetterman is taking on one of the top names on the left.
John Fetterman took Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to task for one reason no one ever expected.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
The Democrat Party is split over how to respond to the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel.
A Gallup poll found that 49 percent of Democrats say their sympathies lie with the Palestinians while just 38 percent of Democrats side with Israel.
That split showed up in Congress.
Shortly after the attack, where Hamas terrorists slaughtered 900 innocent Jews and took more than 100 hostages while threatening to execute them on live television, Fetterman put out a statement unequivocally condemning the Hamas terrorist attack.
“I forcefully condemn these cowardly, horrifying, unprovoked attacks on Israel by Hamas. Attacking innocent civilians is particularly despicable and reflects the craven behavior of this terrorist group. I unequivocally stand with the people of Israel now, and always,” Fetterman wrote on social media.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Squad” allies, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, posted statements defending Hamas by equating their terrorist attacks with actions by the Israeli military to defend their citizens from death and destruction.
“As the world is condemning Hamas’s attacks, we must also oppose an Israeli military response that has already taken the lives of hundreds of Palestinians, including nearly two dozen children,” Omar wrote.
Tlaib came under fire for displaying a Palestinian flag outside her congressional office.
The “Squad’s” support for Palestine came to a head after a pro-Hamas rally broke out in New York City.

Ocasio-Cortez stayed silent about a pro-terrorist rally in her hometown for 48 hours.
But the extent of the Hamas atrocities – terrorists beheaded 40 babies and dragged women through the streets after raping them – shamed Ocasio-Cortez into condemning the rally.
“It should not be hard to shut down hatred and antisemitism where we see it. That is a core tenet of solidarity,” Ocasio-Cortez declared.
But even in condemning the rally, Ocasio-Cortez made the false equivalence between the barbarism of Hamas and the Israeli military.
“The bigotry and callousness expressed in Times Square on Sunday were unacceptable and harmful in this devastating moment. It also did not speak for the thousands of New Yorkers who are capable of rejecting both Hamas’ horrifying attacks against innocent civilians as well as the grave injustices and violence Palestinians face under occupation,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.
It is a strange day indeed when John Fetterman is the voice of reason in the Democrat Party.
