The Democrat Party running to court to try and win the 2024 election holds serious risks.
Kamala Harris may learn that lesson in the most painful way.
And this Democrat just opened the door to kicking Kamala Harris off the ballot.

Maine’s Democrat Secretary of State Shenna Bellows detonated the foundations of American democracy by banning Donald Trump from the state ballot saying Section 3 of the 14th Amendment prohibited Trump from holding office.
Despite Trump never being charged with insurrection Bellows decided that in her own mind January 6 amounted to an insurrection and that Donald Trump was guilty of participation because he spoke at a rally.
Bellows is an unhinged partisan who hates Donald Trump and thinks The New York Times is a right-wing propaganda machine.
Bellows tried to dress up her authoritarian power grab taken right out of dictatorships like Venezuela or Cuba in flowery language about how the decision weighed on her.
“I am mindful that no Secretary of State has ever deprived a presidential candidate of ballot access based on Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment,” Bellows stated. “I am also mindful, however, that no presidential candidate has ever before engaged in insurrection.”
But this autocratic power grab opened Pandora’s box.
To justify banning Trump from the ballot, Bellows – who isn’t a lawyer and merely a partisan hack appointed by the Democrat legislature – expanded the definition of insurrection so broadly that any protest would now allow a state to ban candidates from the ballot.
That immediately raised questions about Kamala Harris’s role in raising money for a radical group that paid the bail of rioters arrested during the Black Lives Matter attacks in the summer of 2020.
Republican secretaries of state could retaliate by striking Harris’s name from the ballot under this precedent.
They could also ban Joe Biden on the grounds that importing millions of illegal aliens into America depleted government resources necessary to carry out executing the legal functions of government.
Democrats hate Donald Trump and fear Trump will beat Joe Biden next year.
And the left would rather deploy a bureaucratic and legal cheat code to prevent Trump from winning re-election than take the chance the voters may actually prefer Donald Trump to Joe Biden as president.
It’s a dangerous mindset that could lead to absolute chaos in the election if Republicans choose to play tit for tat.
