Megyn Kelly Interviews Donald Trump for the First Time Since the 2016 Election

Donald Trump still has the capacity to produce the unexpected.

No one knows that better than Megyn Kelly.

And Megyn Kelly dropped a bombshell about Donald Trump that left everyone in shock.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Megyn Kelly left Fox News shortly after Donald Trump became president.

After a failed stint at NBC News Kelly reinvented herself as one of the top podcasters in conservative media.

And Kelly just announced that for the first time in seven years she will interview Donald Trump.

“Next week, I’ll be interviewing former President Donald Trump. It will be my first interview with the former president in seven years and there’s so much to get to. I’m really looking forward to this,” Kelly told listeners. “It’s gonna be great. It’s gonna be spicy and it’s gonna be tough, but it’s gonna be good and hopefully we’re both gonna enjoy it. I think you’re all gonna enjoy it too. We’re gonna have a lot of time for a variety of topics in person, sitting down with him in person.”

Many thought this was a day that would never come.

That’s because at the first GOP debate of the 2016 cycle Kelly started the event by asking Trump about past comments he made about women.

“You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs’ and ‘disgusting animals,’” Kelly stated.

Trump joked he only referred to “The View” co-host Rosie O’Donnell who Trump feuded with in the past.

But Kelly persisted.

Trump felt the question was a set-up and Fox News management ordered Kelly to try and take him down as Jeb Bush was the favorite of network founder Rupert Murdoch.

In an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon after the debate Trump criticized Kelly by claiming she was bloodthirsty in going after him.

“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,” Trump said in the interview. “Blood coming out of her wherever.”

Trump’s haters in the media seized on the comment to twist his words and falsely claim Trump accused Kelly of bleeding out of her vagina.

In a series of posts on Twitter, Trump called out his critics in the press for lying about what he said and being too politically correct.

“Re Megyn Kelly quote: ‘you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever’ (NOSE). Just got on w/thought,” Trump wrote.

“So many ‘politically correct’ fools in our country. We have to all get back to work and stop wasting time and energy on nonsense!” Trump added.

Trump kept up the feud with Kelly as he boycotted Fox News for several weeks following the debate.

And Trump also made the decision to skip the debate on the eve of the Iowa Caucuses as Fox News selected Kelly to moderate and Trump did not believe he would be treated fairly.

That all appears to be water under the bridge as Trump and Kelly are now on solid enough footing for Trump to sit for an interview with a journalist he once accused of publicly trying to sabotage his presidential campaign.
