One thing for 2024 that is for certain is that Donald Trump will need a new running mate.

But who will Trump select?

Now Megyn Kelly predicted this shocking name as Trump’s VP.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Axios sent a shockwave across the GOP by reporting that Melania Trump lobbied Donald Trump to pick Tucker Carlson as his running mate in 2024.

The speculation set off cheers from Trump supporters who see Carlson as the most articulate and effective messenger for the MAGA agenda.

But would Carlson take the job if offered?

In an appearance on Megyn Kelly’s podcast to promote his new Tucker Carlson Network streaming service Carlson downplayed the idea of him ever running for office.

“It’s just so unimaginable,” Carlson told Kelly adding that he “led a life that prepares a person for politics.”

Carlson admitted that he truly likes Trump personally and gets along with him very well – two traits Trump would look for in a running mate.

“I’m a total sucker for Trump, I think he’s- you know personally I get along with Trump really well. The closer I am physically to Trump, like if I’m with him in the room, I always love Trump and I think it’s impossible not to, and you know the experience,” Carlson continued. “He’s just charming, OK? And he’s funny as hell, and he’s brave in his way I think.”

However, Carlson claimed he is happy working in the media and has no desire to ever mount a presidential campaign.

Kelly wasn’t so sure telling Carlson that she moderated the last debate and that Carlson stood above all the other candidates on the stage in the ability to connect with an audience and deliver a compelling message that hooked Americans.

Those are the skills a politician needs to lead a movement.

And Kelly told Carlson that she didn’t think Carlson would let those talents go to waste and that he would either be Trump’s vice president or run for office on his own one day.

“If I had you on that debate stage, Tucker — I actually thought about this — if you were out on that debate stage last week as one of the candidates, it would be so fun because you really would just be saying what’s real, there’d be no massaging of the message, and everyone would respond so well to you,” she argued. “When someone is as authentic as you are, the people know! I just don’t think there- you’re not gonna end your life without having been, probably president, maybe vice president, I just don’t think you will,” Kelly declared.
