Republicans Side With Democrat Prosecutor in Case Against Donald Trump

Former Vice President Mike Pence has the knives out for Donald Trump.

Pence wants Trump out of the 2024 race.

And Mike Pence just did the unthinkable in this criminal case against Trump.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Fani Willis stitched together a sprawling indictment based on a flimsy legal theory that Donald Trump contesting the 2020 election amounted to a crime.

The Democrat prosecutor listed over 100 acts she claimed furthered this conspiracy including telling Americans to watch TV and getting someone’s phone number.

Despite the obvious absurdity of the charges establishment Republicans lined up to support Willis and side against Trump.

Georgia’s Republican Governor, Brian Kemp, had nothing to say about the fact that a county Democrat prosecutor indicted the Republican frontrunner for president after polls showed that Trump had a good chance to defeat the incumbent Democrat president.

Kemp consented to the weaponization of the justice system and instead attacked Donald Trump over Trump’s claims about what happened in 2020.

“The 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen. For nearly three years now, anyone with evidence of fraud has failed to come forward – under oath – and prove anything in a court of law. Our elections in Georgia are secure, accessible, and fair and will continue to be as long as I am governor. The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus,” Kemp posted on Twitter.

Mike Pence joined Kemp in giving a rhetorical boost to Willis and her sham case.

Like Kemp, Pence never rebuked an elected Democrat prosecutor bringing a case in one of the most Democrat jurisdictions in America against the likely Republican candidate for president in the middle of an election cycle.

“The Georgia election was not stolen and I had no right to overturn the election on Jan. 6,” Pence stated.

Instead, Pence used the moment to attack Trump over January 6.

“No one is above law,” Pence declared during a speech at the National Conference of State Legislatures. “And the president and all those implicated are entitled to the presumption of innocence.”

Even Trump’s other GOP rivals like Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy condemned the fact that Democrats weaponized the DA’s office, the federal courts and the FBI to interfere in the 2024 election to help Joe Biden win a second term.

Ramaswamy and DeSantis also laid out proposals to end the weaponization of the government and hold those who abused their power and the public trust accountable.

Establishment Republicans like Pence and Kemp don’t see the charges against Trump as anything to worry about because they want to get rid of Trump just as much as the Democrats.
