Donald Trump will need a new running mate.

One name is bubbling to the top of the short list.

And Tucker Carlson had one response to being named Donald Trump’s VP.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

If Donald Trump wins in 2024, Trump’s second administration will look vastly different than his first.

Gone are the days when Trump would rely on the advice of traditional Republicans trying to install their allies in the White House.

Trump listening to the so-called “adults in the room” led to RINO saboteurs embedding themselves in the White House and scheming to subvert Trump’s MAGA agenda of sealing the border, ending foreign wars and draining the swamp.

“But here’s an interesting twist: Melania Trump is an advocate for picking Tucker Carlson, the booted Fox News star. She thinks Carlson would make a powerful onstage extension of her husband, a source close to Trump told us. The former first lady has made few campaign appearances this time around — but a Trump-Carlson ticket might encourage her to hit the trail,” an Axios exclusive report read.

Tucker Carlson is the voice of the conservative base in media.

There is no one who more loudly protested COVID lockdowns, vaccine mandates, woke ideology, open borders, the war in Ukraine, or the Black Lives Matter riots than Carlson.

Picking Carlson would rev up the base and also appeal to the type of anti-establishment, nontraditional voters who only show in presidential years and have no use for the Republican Party of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

Polls show Trump making inroads with young voters due to their frustration that Joe Biden’s skyrocketing inflation and rising interest rates put essentials of the American dream like owning a home out of reach.

Carlson drew in the youngest audience in cable news and a Carlson VP selection could be Trump seeing an opening with young voters and making a play.

The rumors that Trump would pick Carlson grew so hot and heavy that Carlson felt compelled to publicly address them.

Speaking at the American Principles Project Gala, Carlson said once and for all that he had no interest in public office and that God would have to send an unmistakable sign that he wanted him to enter the political arena to become Trump’s running mate.

With Carlson out of the equation, every ambitious Republican in America will want the spot as Trump’s running mate.

Even Republicans who hate Trump want the number-two spot because win, lose or draw in 2024, the GOP nomination will be an open-seat race in 2028 and whoever Trump selects as his running mate enters that race as the favorite.
