During the final 2020 presidential debate Trump called out Joe Biden for his links to Hunter Biden’s alleged foreign influence peddling scheme.
Trump cited a report that Russian oligarch and ex-wife of the mayor of Moscow Elena Baturina wired Hunter Biden $3.5 million.
Biden scoffed at the charges and the media ran with the idea that Trump was spreading Russian disinformation.

Fifty-one former intelligence community officials signing a letter falsely claiming the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop were Russian disinformation and Big Tech censoring the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s laptop allowed the press to conduct a media blackout of the Biden foreign lobbying scandal.
Instead of vetting Biden the press and the Biden campaign spread falsehoods about how Trump was trying to distract from the conspiracy theory that Trump colluded with the Russians in 2016.
It turned out that once again the Democrats were guilty of the offenses they accused Trump of committing.
Former Hunter Biden business associate Devon Archer’s bombshell testimony to the House Oversight Committee provided the evidence that vindicated Trump.
The House Oversight Committee tweeted out the blockbuster revelations that emerged from Archer’s testimony such as the fact that then-Vice President Joe Biden attended a business meeting with Baturina at Café Milano in 2014.
Shortly after this meeting is when Baturina allegedly wired Hunter Biden the $3.5 million.
The House Oversight Committee also pointed out that Baturina was not among the Russian oligarchs the Biden administration sanctioned as part of the financial squeeze placed on the Russian economy over the invasion of Ukraine.
“In 2014, then-VP Biden attended a business dinner with Hunter & his associates at Café Milano in D.C. Elena Baturina, a Russian oligarch who is the widow of the former mayor of Moscow, was an attendee. Notably, the Biden Admin’s public sanctions do not contain Baturina,” the Oversight Committee’s Twitter account also posted.
Republicans keep gathering evidence that ties Joe Biden to the Hunter Biden scandal.
And many key Republicans in Congress as well as outside observers are starting to believe that the sweetheart plea deal the Biden Justice Department tried to give Hunter Biden where Hunter Biden would receive blanket immunity from prosecution on any and all charges was really designed to protect Joe Biden from investigation for his role in the Biden family’s alleged foreign influence peddling scheme.
