Barack Obama isn’t happy with Joe Biden.

Obama had something he needed to get off his chest.

And Barack Obama delivered one threat to Joe Biden that no one saw coming.

As Black Eye Politics reports:

Former President Barack Obama is reportedly feeling “deep concern” about Donald Trump’s “political strength” after a string of recent polls show him winning against President Joe Biden.

The Washington Post reported on Saturday that Obama met Biden for lunch in December to discuss changes Obama thought should be made to his reelection campaign.

One suggestion was for Biden’s campaign aides be given authority to make decisions without needing an okay from the White House.

“Obama also recommended that Biden seek counsel from Obama’s own former campaign aides, which Biden officials say they have done,” reported the Washington Post.

“Someone wants to light a fire under the asses of some of these people,” one top Democratic strategist alluded to Axios on Monday.

But during an interview on Sunday with Welker on NBC, Biden’s deputy campaign manager Quentin Fulks said Obama and Biden’s team are “united.”

“We’re going to continue to do what we need to do in order to be competitive and in order to make sure we’re growing the infrastructure that we need to win,” Fulks said.

“President Obama and President Biden talk frequently, as do the campaign and former operatives from President Biden’s administration and his campaign.”

“The president has been very clear that the experience he got as VP serving with President Obama has been critical to the experience that he brings to the job and what he’s been able to accomplish. But we’re united in the fact that we have to do everything we can to push back on Donald Trump and the threat that he poses to democracy,” stated Fulks.

However, Biden’s campaign message that Trump is a “threat” to democracy doesn’t appear to be impacting voters.

Trump was found in the lead against Biden in three of the last four national polls, and in the fourth poll, Trump and Biden were tied.

A poll of 841 likely voters, conducted by ActiVote between October 6 and January 3, found Trump significantly ahead with 54 percent of the vote against Biden’s 46 percent. A Morning Consult survey of 6,816 registered voters, which took place from December 30 to January 1, found Trump with 42 percent support and Biden with 41 percent. A USA Today poll also showed Trump with a 1-point lead.

In a YouGov poll taken of 1,343 registered voters from December 31 to January 2, Biden and Trump were tied at 44 percent each.
