Nikki Haley is learning that this is still Donald Trump’s Republican Party.
The establishment-backed Haley is finding a tough reception on the campaign trail.
And Nikki Haley got called one name that left her red with rage.

Part of being a Republican running for president is facing “gotcha” questions from the press and plants in the crowd designed to make you look bad.
Nikki Haley failed that test miserably during a campaign event in New Hampshire.
A man sprung a question on Haley about what she thought the cause of the Civil War was.
Haley then began to ramble on stringing together a series of words that made little sense.
“Well, don’t come with an easy question or anything. I mean, I think the cause of the Civil War was basically how government was going to run the freedoms and what people could and couldn’t do,” Haley stated.
The man pushed back saying she didn’t answer his question and exclaimed that he couldn’t believe Haley never mentioned slavery.
The next day, Haley tried to perform damage control during a radio interview.
“Of course the Civil War was about slavery,” Haley declared. “We know that. That’s the easy part of it. What I was saying was what does it mean to us today? What it means to us today is about freedom. That’s what that was all about.”
But that led to an even bigger disaster when a small child confronted Haley at a campaign event and told her to her face that Haley’s back and forth on the causes of the Civil War made her “the new John Kerry.”
George W. Bush defeated John Kerry in 2004 by painting him as a liberal elitist and a flip-flopper.
The Bush campaign achieved both of those kill shots in one commercial showing Kerry windsurfing before a clip played of Kerry bragging about how he was for funding the Iraq War before he voted against it.
A narrator saying John Kerry went any way the wind blew as he windsurfed closed out the devastating spot.
Kerry never recovered and Bush went on to win a second term.
Haley is trying to become the establishment darling to defeat Donald Trump.
Polls show her tailing Donald Trump by 15 points.
But this blunder hurts Haley on both ends.
There is nothing that makes establishment Republicans more skittish than a cringe answer on race.
And conservatives can see Haley is the typical RINO who can’t recognize an obvious left-wing set-up and deftly handle the situation without having to backtrack and backpedal.
